In this notice, "the Company" means Learned.it, the operator of this application, and "you" means anyone who uses it.
What the Company Stores
Your email address and name from sign-in, the projects, resources, plans and images you create, your study progress and your calendar. Nothing else is collected about you.
Why
Only to run the application for you: to save your work, measure your progress and keep your subscription in step. The Company does not sell your data, show advertising or build profiles about you.
Who Else Handles It
Google Firebase and Google Cloud host the application and store your data in the EU. Google Gemini answers Companion, so what you send Companion, and the course data it reads to answer, is processed by Google. Stripe handles payments, and the Company never sees your card number. YouTube serves embedded videos under its own privacy policy.
Cookies
One cookie keeps you signed in. There are no tracking or advertising cookies.
Your Rights
You may ask for a copy of your data or have it corrected by writing to the address below. You can delete your account yourself from the account menu, which removes your projects, files and progress at once, cancels any subscription and removes your saved card. Your invoices and payment records stay with Stripe for as long as accounting law requires. For 90 days after deletion, the Company keeps a short record of the deleted account (a one-way code made from your email address, never the address itself, and how much of the free Companion allowance you used) so a new account with the same address does not get a second free allowance; it is then deleted automatically. A trashed project is removed for good 30 days after you trash it. You may also complain to your data protection authority.
