Terms of Use

In this notice, "the Company" means Learned.it, the operator of this application, and "you" means anyone who uses it.
The Service
The Company provides a study application in which you organise material, practise it and track your progress. It is offered as a beta and may change, and it is provided as is, without any guarantee that it is free of errors.
Your Content
What you write and upload stays yours. You give the Company only the permission needed to store and show it back to you. You must not upload anything you have no right to share, or anything unlawful.
Videos and Other Material
Videos are embedded from YouTube and belong to their creators, as the notice beside each one says. Their use is governed by the YouTube Terms of Service. The Company claims no ownership of them.
Companion
Companion is an AI and can be wrong. Check what it tells you, and nothing it proposes is saved until you approve it. Its use is limited by the allowance of your plan.
Pro and Payments
Pro is a subscription paid through Stripe, with prices including VAT. It renews each period until you cancel, which you can do at any time from your account, and it then runs until the end of the period already paid. Pro starts as soon as you pay, at your request. If you are a consumer, you may still withdraw within 14 days of buying by writing to the address below, and you are refunded the part of the period not yet used. Past those 14 days, a period already paid is not refunded.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, the Company is not liable for indirect loss, or for loss of data beyond what it could reasonably prevent. Nothing here limits the rights you have as a consumer.
Ending
You may stop using the application and delete your account at any time. Deleting it ends Pro at once, and the rest of a paid period is not refunded, except within the 14 days described under Pro and Payments. The Company may suspend an account that breaks these terms. These terms are governed by the law of Finland.
